The Job: Administrative Assistant

The Hours: Part time (flexible, from 16 hours to 24 hours weekly)

The Wages: Negotiable depending on experience

About Us:

Redfern Property is a dynamic letting agency based in Aberystwyth – we primarily work with student houses alongside increasing our portfolio year on year to include residential properties. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of digital when it comes to running our business, working with a variety of companies to offer seamless services online for application processes, maintenance, billing and more. We’re also a friendly bunch, and we’re keen to remain that way!

The Job:

As a small business, the position we have to offer is varied – primarily assisting in the office with general day to day administrative tasks. This will include sending & replying to emails from landlords and tenants, answering telephone calls, writing house descriptions, working closely with the marketing & maintenance teams to help promote the business and in general, working to ensure that Redfern remains at the forefront and stands out from the crowd.

Outside of the desk job, we also have a wide variety of tasks that you may be asked to do, such as carrying out viewings, accompanying inspections/visiting new properties and more. However, we know that some people are stronger in one area than another – and we’re happy to see where you can fit into our business and its journey.

Essential Skills:

We want to avoid a huge list of essential requirements, because not everyone fits the mould, but what we do ask is:

  • > confident writing skills in English (Welsh is a bonus!) for letters and emails
  • > confident on the phone
  • > ability to listen
  • > ambitious
  • > have initiative
